Ming Li graduated from the University of Auckland in 2005.

She trained in Endocrinology and Geriatric Medicine at Alfred Health, Peninsula Health and Barwon Health before obtaining her FRACP in 2017. She has recently completed her PhD studies examining the molecular mechanisms of low skeletal muscle mass in older women with hip fracture.

Ming Li has a wide range of clinical interests including Diabetes Mellitus (type 1 and 2, LADA, MODY and GDM) and Endocrine Disorders (pituitary, thyroid, adrenal, parathyroid) and Osteoporosis and Sarcopaenia. She is able to see patients with hormonal disorders, with the exception of androgen deficiency (low testosterone). Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
